Noffze Family Holiday

I got of out dodge this past weekend and took the boys on a road trip to the twin cities. We left just in time to miss the blizzard in Fargo that closed down 1/2 the state's interstate travel for two days. WHEW!

The kids got to plan the whole weekend away. They searched the internet for things they wanted to visit then printed out addresses to put into the car's Nav System (The boys call her Pearl - our Car-Nag, HA!)

We visited tack shops, card shops, Mall of America, and the Science Museum. There was a HUGE state wide hockey tournament going on and we saw TONS of people. I don't know which was more fun the people-watching or the window-shopping!

Tyler and Brandon have been working at the stables earning spending money for the trip and they found the best treasures.

Brandon found a card shop and spent and hour and a half just shooting the breeze with a barage of different football card enthusiasts.

Tyler picked through two different tack shops and finally settled on a crop to help his stubborn little pony Bayberry learn to canter instead of buck.

I got the pleasure of watching my two boys act like kids again and just enjoy themselves!
Wow, what a weekend, we had SO MUCH FUN!

Of course, in the Twin Cities tradition we had to go to Fudruckers' our favorite burger place. This time though it held a surprise which championed a whole host of laughter.
A phrase etched in the bathroom wall in the mens room.

"Here I sit all broken hearted, came to Poop but only farted."
Yeah, potty humor, they laughed all the way home!

Boys! Gotta love them!
