I'm in love with a COW!

I was surfing the artists website Etsy and found this artist that paints livestock. I'm in LOVE with the way she captured these cows! Just thought I'd share my find. Enjoy!

Funny for your day:

We who have taught, or love children who have been taught, know this is funny!

From the diary of a Pre- School Teacher :

My five-year old students are learning to read.
Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said:

"Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!"

I took a deep breath, then asked..."What did you call it?"

"It's a frickin' elephant! It says so on the picture!"

And so it does...

" A f r i c a n Elephant "

Hooked on phonics! Ain't it wonderful?

Books a lotta!

Well, I can't say as I mind, but my two boys have become quite the book hounds!
We can't leave a Barns and Noble without an armful.  Luckily, this time Grandma Ivy and the Rife family saved the day by giving the kids a little cash towards their favorite hobby.

Whew! We got lucky this time....next time it's our turn....we're going to take a field trip to the library instead!

Keep reading boys, it's a great hobby for your noggin!
